Why is SAML tracing needed?
SAML Tracing is an important tool for troubleshooting and optimising SAML-based authentication processes.
SAML Tracing makes it possible to trace the entire SAML authentication flow in detail. This is particularly useful when problems occur during login or single sign-on (SSO). By analysing the SAML messages, errors in the configuration or data exchange between the identity provider (IdP) and service provider (SP) can be identified. This is particularly useful in the set-up phase for authentication mechanisms such as SAML.
Logging is automatically switched off when the web server is restarted.
This guide applies to ADONIS 16, ADOIT 17 and ADOGRC 13 and later versions. For instructions applicable to earlier versions, please click here.
